Product Introduction

Product Name: ZK-7E Polycarboxylate Slump Retention Agent (Mother Liquid)
Brand: Zoncore
Type: Polycarboxylate Slump-Retaining Agent

1. Product Overview & Material Composition

The ZK-7E is a high-performance chemical admixture specifically engineered for concrete applications. Chemical Composition: It is synthesized via free-radical copolymerization technology. The primary raw materials include C6 polyether macromonomers and hydroxypropyl esters. It is designed with “time-controlled release technology,” which enables the sustained release of active components through ester hydrolysis, ensuring that the concrete’s slump value remains essentially unchanged for up to 3h. ZK-7E offers a critical solution for long-distance concrete transportation and projects requiring extended placement times, ensuring the concrete arrives at the site ready to pour without losing its strength or dimensional stability.

Physical State: Colorless, transparent liquid.

Key Technology: It utilizes "time-controlled release technology," which allows for the sustained release of active components through ester hydrolysis.

2. Key Features & Functions

The primary function of this agent is to maintain the workability (slump) of concrete over extended periods without adverse side effects.

Ultra-Long Slump Retention: Designed to keep the concrete's slump value essentially unchanged for up to 3 hours (180 minutes).

Stable Performance: It typically reaches its peak slump-retention capacity around 90 minutes. After the retention effect is released, the concrete slump remains stable without abrupt changes.

Reduced Shrinkage: Significantly reduces concrete shrinkage, improving the volume stability and durability of the final structure.

Compatibility: Specifically designed to be used in combination with polycarboxylate-based high-performance water reducers.

3. Technical Specifications

The following table summarizes the standard requirements and test results for concrete containing ZK-7E:

4. Application Scenarios

This product is suitable for concrete projects requiring ultra-long slump retention and long-distance transportation, including:

Commercial Concrete Projects

High-Speed Railways

Expressways

Nuclear Power Plants

Water Control Hubs

5. Packaging & Storage

Packaging Options:

Plastic drums

IBC Totes: 1000L.

Tank Trucks: For bulk transportation.

Storage Conditions:

Shelf Life: Max. 6 months

Precautions: Seal tightly, avoid direct sunlight, and protect from freezing.

Corrosion Warning: It has a slight corrosive effect on iron containers. Prolonged storage in iron containers will cause the contents to turn pale reddish-brown. It is non-toxic, has a mild acidic odor, and is non-flammable.

6. Important Precautions

Do not mix with naphthalene sulfonate water reducers, melamine-based water reducers, or aliphatic water reducers.

Dosage: The typical blending ratio is below 40%. Excessive addition may lead to an increase in concrete slump and even cause concrete segregation.

Enhanced Effect: When used in combination with polycarboxylate high-performance water reducers and Type I polycarboxylate slump-retaining agents, the effect is even more pronounced.

7. MOQ: 5 tons

产品优势:

1. Ultra-Long Slump Retention (Extended Workability)

Time-Controlled Release: Utilizes a proprietary "time-controlled release technology" based on ester hydrolysis. This allows the agent to release its active components gradually over time.

3-Hour Stability: It is designed to keep the concrete's slump value essentially unchanged for up to 3 hours (180 minutes).

No Sudden Drop: The slump retention effect typically peaks around 90 minutes. After this period, the concrete slump remains stable without abrupt changes or sudden loss of fluidity, allowing for a longer and more reliable placement window.

2. Excellent Compatibility & Synergy

Complementary Action: It is specifically designed to be used in combination with polycarboxylate-based high-performance water reducers.

Enhanced Effect: When used in combination with Type I polycarboxylate slump-retaining agents and either Type II or Type III polycarboxylate slump-retaining agents, the synergistic effect is even more pronounced, allowing for fine-tuned control over the concrete's rheology.

3. Improved Durability & Dimensional Stability

Reduced Shrinkage: Significantly reduces concrete shrinkage. The documentation indicates a 28-day shrinkage rate of only 109% (vs. a standard requirement of 120%), improving the volume stability of the structure and reducing the risk of cracking.

Strength Retention: While maintaining slump, it does not compromise on strength. The 28-day compressive strength ratio reaches 108%, ensuring the structural integrity of the concrete remains high.

4. Stable Setting Time

Controlled Setting: It provides a moderate retarding effect. The initial setting time difference is +20 minutes, ensuring the concrete does not set too quickly during long hauls but also does not delay the overall construction schedule significantly.
