1. Material Composition
ZK-7N is a polycarboxylate slump-retaining agent synthesized via free-radical copolymerization technology, using C6 polyether macromonomers, hydroxyethyl esters, and hydroxypropyl esters as the main raw materials. It is classified as Type II polycarboxylate slump-retaining agent (SRA-II). It is suitable for engineering applications involving medium- to long-distance transportation or projects with high slump-retention requirements.
Physical State: Colorless, transparent liquid.
2. Key Features & Functions
This product is specifically engineered to solve the problem of slump loss in concrete during transportation and placement.
Sustained-Release Mechanism: It possesses a sustained-release characteristic. It typically reaches its peak slump-retention capability within about 60 minutes. After this period, the concrete's workability remains stable.
Extended Workability: With an appropriate dosage, it can keep the concrete's slump essentially unchanged for up to 120 minutes.
Improved Paste Quality: After the slump-retaining performance is released, the concrete exhibits a richer paste and improved overall workability.
Reduced Shrinkage: It significantly reduces concrete shrinkage, which markedly improves the concrete's volume stability and durability.
Synergistic Use: It is designed to be used in combination with polycarboxylate-based high-performance water reducers.
3. Technical Specifications
The following table summarizes the performance metrics of concrete containing ZK-7N:

4. Application Scenarios
The ZK-7N is suitable for engineering applications involving medium- to long-distance transportation or projects with strict requirements for slump retention.
Commercial/Ready-Mixed Concrete: Especially for long-distance transport.
High-Speed Railways & Expressways
Nuclear Power Plants
Water Control Projects
5. Packaging & Storage
Packaging Options:
Plastic drums
IBC Totes (1000L)
Tank Trucks (Bulk)
Storage Conditions:
Shelf Life: Valid for 6 months.
Precautions: Seal tightly, avoid direct sunlight, and protect from freezing.
Corrosion Warning: It is slightly corrosive to ferrous metals (iron/steel). If stored in an iron container for a long time, it will turn pale reddish-brown.
6. Important Precautions
Incompatibility: Do not mix with naphthalene sulfonate water reducers, melamine-based water reducers, or aliphatic water reducers.
Dosage Control: The typical blending ratio is below 40%. Overdosing may lead to an increase in concrete slump and even promote concrete segregation.
7. MOQ: 5 tons
