Product Introduction

Product Description

ZK-7N features a timed-release molecular structure. By introducing ester groups into the main molecular chain,it triggers a slow hydrolysis reaction in a highly alkalineenvironment. This process gradually releases small molecules with dispersing properties, such as carboxyl groups, continuously replenishing the water reducer molecules consumed by cement particles and hydration products. Consequently, it maintains the fluidity of concrete for several hours, making itparticularly suitable for concrete subjected toprolonged transportation (2h–5h) in high-temperature environments. Please note that ZK-7N is generally not recommended for standalone use and should be compounded with ZK-9E or ZK-9F.

Uses

ZK-7N has been developed for use in:

u High-strength and high-performance concrete

uPumped concrete for high-rise buildings

uSelf-Compacting Concrete

uMass concrete

u Concrete requiring long slump retention

Advantages

u Effectively inhibits the hydration reaction rate during the initial and induction periods of cement hydration, thereby minimizing the time-dependent loss of concrete slump.

u It does not affect the setting time and strength development of concrete, effectively overcoming the drawbacks of traditional retarders, such as excessively prolonged final setting time and lowearly strength.

uSignificantly enhances the cohesiveness ofconcrete, effectively preventing segregation andbleeding, and improving its workability.

uReduces the risk of concrete shrinkage andcracking, while enhancing the density and durability of the concrete.

Standards compliance

ZK-7N performance testing is conducted with referenceto GB/T 8076, EN 934-2 and ASTM C494,where applicable.

Dosage

The recommended dosage of ZK-7N is 0.05%–0 .4% by weight of the total binder (liquid form). The exact dosage should be determined through laboratory testing based on the specific material properties and engineering requirements of the project.

Technical support

Should customers encounter any unresolved technical issues during application, ZK provides professional technical advice remotely. On-site technical support will also be provided if necessary.

Compatibility

u ZK-7N is generally compatible with Portland cement and commonly used mineral admixtures, subject to laboratoryverification.

u ZK-7N should not be used in combination with other types of admixtures unless verified by laboratory testing.

Health and Safety

u ZK-7N is a non-toxic, non-flammable liquid with noirritating odor. It is not classified as a hazardous chemical.

uIt is recommended to wear standard personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves and safety goggles, during handling.

u Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. Do not ingest. In case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

Packaging and Storage

u It is recommended to use plastic containers for storage and transportation.

uZK-7N is available in four packaging options: 200L drumsand 1,000L IBC tanks, 16,000L flex tanks, and 24,000L flex tanks.

uWhen stored at temperatures between 2°C and 50°C, theshelf life of ZK-7N should not exceed 12 months. If the storage period exceeds this limit, please contact Zoncorefor further advice.
