Product Introduction

Product Description

ZK-9E is a long-sidechain polycarboxylate ether polymer prepared through molecular structure design and optimization, utilizing highly active polyether monomers. By adsorbing onto the surface of cement particles, it generates electrostatic

repulsion and steric hindrance effects, thereby achieving an exceptionally high water-reducing rate and excellent slump retention.

Uses

ZK-9E has been developed for use in:

u High-strength and high-performance concrete

u Pumped concrete for high-rise buildings

u Self-Compacting Concrete

u Mass concrete

uPrecast concrete

Advantages

u Drastically reduces water usage, provides long-lasting cement particle dispersion, and improves concretefluidity and workability.

uIt effectively minimizes the time-dependent slump lossof concrete, making it highly suitable for short- to medium-distance transportation (1h–1.5h) in hightemperature environments. For longer-distancetransportation, it is recommended to use it in combination with ZK-7N.

u Reduces the sensitivity of concrete to the clay content in sand and gravel aggregates.

u Improves concrete cohesiveness, prevents segregation and bleeding, and enhances surface finish.

u Optimizes the proportion of cement in the binder system, thereby saving costs and reducing carbon emissions.

u Ensures excellent early and ultimate strength development of concrete.

u Reduces the risk of concrete shrinkage and cracking, while enhancing the density and durability of the concrete.

Standards compliance

ZK-9E performance testing is conducted with reference to GB/T 8076, EN 934-2 and ASTM C494, where applicable.

Technical support

Should customers encounter any unresolved technical issues during application, ZK provides professional technical advice remotely. On-site technical support will also be provided if necessary.

Compatibility

u ZK-9E is generally compatible with Portland cementand commonly used mineral admixtures, subject to laboratory verification..

u ZK-9E should not be used in combination with other types of admixtures unless verified by laboratory testing.

Health and Safety

uZK-9E is a non-toxic, non-flammable liquid with no irritating odor. It is not classified as a hazardous chemical.

u It is recommended to wear standard personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves and safetygoggles, during handling.

u Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. Do not ingest. In case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

Packaging and Storage

u It is recommended to use plastic containers for storage and transportation.

u ZK-9E is available in four packaging options: 200L drums and 1,000L IBC tanks, 16,000L flex tanks, and24,000L flex tanks.

u When stored at temperatures between 2°C and 50°C, the shelf life of ZK-9E should not exceed 12 months. If the storage period exceeds this limit, please contact Zoncore for further advice.
